Field Closures
During inclement weather, the Board of Directors will make a decision daily as to close the fields based on the current field conditions and expected weather conditions.  The official status will be listed on the Nassau United FC Club homepage.

It is important to note that weather conditions at the field can be very different than the surrounding areas.  Always check the website before leaving for practice or games.

LightningNassau United FC Club has a state of the art lightning detection system and will suspend practice and or games when lightning strikes have been detected within the warning area. One long siren will sound and a strobe will flash on the unit. After the system determines conditions are safe, (30 minutes of no lightning) the siren will sound three five second intermittent blast and strobe will go off, providing notice that it is safe to resume activity in the area.
